Raiding 101

OK so I have mentioned this a few times in my blog, I should probably put some words to the comment.
Raiding 101 is the UM DUH stuff you should (or shouldn't) do when raiding with 24 other people.  Please add more in the comments, and I will update the lists here!

Raiding 101 for DPS
1) Don't stand in fires
2) Don't stand in front of the boss
3) Don't pull aggro
4) Don't pull early
5) Be flasked and fooded and mana/healthed up before the readycheck
6) Mouseturn
6a) if you MUST keyboard turn, Strafe, don't backstroke (unbind 's' from your movement keys)
7) Make sure you are attacking the right thing at the right time
8) Do as you are told, even if the RL is wrong
9) Do your job, not anyone elses
10) Don't stand in fires


Raiding 101 for Healers
1) Don't stand in fires
2) Don't stand in front of the boss
3) Don't pull Healer aggro (believe me, it happens)
4) Keep your self alive
5) Keep the tanks alive
6) Keep the DPS alive
7) Be flasked and fooded and mana/healthed up before the readycheck
8) DO NOT BACKSTROKE!
9) Do your allocated job, not anyone else's
10) Don't stand in fires


Raiding 101 for Tanks
1) Don't stand in fires
2) Stand in front of the boss
2a) And by standing in front of the boss, we don't mean with your back to the boss, either
3) Face the boss away from the raid
4) KEEP AGGRO
5) Don't pull without a healer or several ready
6) Don't get out of range of your healers
7) Use your CDs
8) Taunt on Standby
9) Do what the RL says, even if they are wrong
10) Don't stand in fires
