Slowly creating a new look blog

Yeah, slowly slowly.
I have a banner now! Yes, that is me getting eaten by Gruul back in the day. It is my favourite screen shot and I think. As I collect more widgets and things to make the very basic template that is blogger work, the site will get more interactive and nice. For the moment, I am looking for a comments module that will do trackbacks and threading, and an RSS widget telling me how many people are reading by RSS.

*sigh*

Who said blogging was supposed to be easy? Yeesh!

New comments addon is clean. I like it. I would recommend addons -- but I have 0 experience with blogger. Wordpress 4 LYF!

For tracking RSS subscribers, Feedburner (feedburner.google.com) is hands down the way to go, although the numbers aren't always the most accurate. You probably want to also use their Feedsmith plugin to redirect traffic subscribed already to your Feedburner URL.

Yeah, this seems quite nice, and it remembered I have a picture I uploaded! I looked at your comments, and they are very swish!!

Ah feedsmith was what you use, I was going to ask that *wanders off to investigate*

Its feedburner + feedsmith -- feedburner is the little chicklet that shows off my count. Feedsmith just makes sure i have 100% of my RSS subscribers redirected to feedburner.
